Head first servlets and jsp на русском

I'm very new to web apps and Servlets and I have the following question: Whenever I print something inside the servlet and call it by the webbrowser, it returns Ok so i am trying to display an image along with user first name and last name on a jsp page but i only get the image not the first name and last name.so what's.
